We are next to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Nicoya Peninsula which have been awarded with the Blue Zone Flag. Our location is perfect for those who seek to be away from the crowds yet a a few minutes from the most beautiful beaches, the best surf spots and downtown for some fun nightlife and great dining options.

Super Chico - 3 minute drive / 10 Minute Walk

The Mal Pais Fishery - 1km from the property

A great perk our guests get to enjoy is our proximity to the Mal Pais Fishery. There you can purchase fresh catches from the local fisherman straight from the line. They'll filet the fish for you on the spot so can cook or grill it at the comfort of your home.

Within a short walk from our property you'll find a small grocery store called Super Chico,  which is very convenient to buy all the basics, fruits and veggies. You’ll also find decent selection of wine, beer and liquor. Super Chico is open 7 days a week, 8am - 8pm.

Around the corner you’ll find a couple spots to get some really delicious food. Tierra Mar, which serves amazing typical Costa Rican dishes and La Doña Pizzeria which has excellent wood fired pizza and super good empanadas. They are both a 5 minute walk from the property.

Playa Cuevas AKA The Swiss Beach - 1km from the property

Mal Pais and Santa Teresa stretch out approximately along 10km of dreamy coastline. The number of beautiful beaches you can access is truly mind blowing and what makes our beaches so unique is the jungle’s proximity to the high tide line. Playa Cuevas is hands down one of the most beautiful beaches along this 10km stretch and we are lucky enough to have it a 5 minute drive from our house and about a 15-20 minute walk. Check it out during your stay, we got snorkeling gear for our guests!

Playa Carmen and Santa Teresa - 3.5km from the property

Playa Carmen is the main beach and the downtown area, it's right in between Mal Pais and Santa Teresa. It's a beautiful beach with lots of sand, plenty of shade. A great spot to relax, surf or grab a bite to eat at the beach front restaurant. Here you will also find banks, ATM machines, plenty dining options and some fun nightlife. It's exactly 3.5km (2miles) from the property, less the 10 minutes by car or ATV.
